SUE AND THE MONSTERS:
01 WHAT I LIKE ABOUT SUE
"Sue and the Monsters" is a mini-documentary series that briefly portraits the early years of photographer Sue Rynski. Sue photographed Detroit´s punk rock scene in the 70s. She was there when everything was happening, shooting photos of emblematic bands such as Iggy Pop, The Mutants, Destroy All Monsters, and Patti Smith, among others. While telling us anecodotes from the golden era of punk rock, Sue also tells us about her philosophy of life, how the only rule she follows in life is being 100% authentic: whatever she does, she does it from the gut. This is an ongoing project.
